The first new social home manufactured off site arrived in Dundee on six articulated lorries on Tuesday 14th April 2009 for Hillcrest Housing Association Ltd. The modular home was produced by Powerwall in Wishaw and transported to Dundee for erection in a single day. Work will continue in location to complete the home ready for occupation.
The home is included within the regeneration of the Kirk Street Development at Lochee, Dundee.
