The second home embracing new methods of construction is scheduled to arrive and be erected on the Kirk Street development, Lochee, Dundee on the 20th April 2009.
Scotframe are supplying the new home featuring 'Supawall' closed panel technology. The home will achieve a wall 'U' value of 0.11, this highly efficient insulated home will have underfloor heating and air source heat pump.
Brown Construction will carry out the site erection of the panels which arrive with the windows pre-installed.
The photograph illustrates the insulation system being injected into the timber frames at the new production facility at Scotframes factory for this Hillcrest Housing Association project.
This new home will be one of the most sustainable homes produced for social housing in Dundee.
