Arbroath Harbour Visitors Centre
This new building occupies a key position on the harbour frontage and the adjacent main roadway into Arbroath. Funded by the Council and European Community the building provides a new tourist visitors centre for Arbroath and Angus, retail units and restaurant facilities.
It is also the catalyst for the regeneration of the harbour area of this important Angus town.
The striking bold lines of the steel framed building, the roof profiles and use of materials to withstand the exposure to the sea elements add to the character of the development.
The building was designed by Dundee architects Baxter Clark and Paul.
